POLICY BLAH BLAH

First the Technical Stuff

There has been some changes to the Etsy Shop .  I have treated the store as a learning experience about how to best serve the customers (and not drive myself out of my mind).  After my latest (and hopefully last) Bridzilla experience as well as a gigantic increase in price of my paper supplier. I have made the shop all digital.

Say WHAT?!

Okay so what I mean by digital?  Well it means I only sell files now.  Files that have many printing possibilities.  Just no longer me.  They can be printed via

 • YOUR HOME PRINTER (if it's anything like mine which is $100 one I got as a gift it will do a pretty damn good job.)

 • LOCAL PRINT SHOPS.  Go ahead support the small business in your community investigate prices and ask around to see if this is the way to go.

 • CHAIN PRINTING Those lovely stores that exist all across America now offer printing. And they're cheap too.

(If you know of any other ones you've used and loved comment and let me know I'll add em to the list)

 • ONLINE PRINTING You upload they send it.  The best most reliable example is Vista Print

PRICE IS STILL RIGHT

The good news is we have straight forward prices now.

Single sided items.......................................$15
Double Sided items.....................................$20
Invites + (1) insert.......................................$18
Add ons (additional inserts for
                registries, directions, etc)............$3/ea
Customizations...........................................FREE
Proofs..........................................................FREE

And of course NO SHIPPING means you don't have to pay for shipping.

IT'S ALL IN THE MATH

Yes plenty of Math will be done in your wedding prep bootcamp, but here is the logical (and mathematical) formula to figure out when you need to start working on/order/draft your invitations.  I love this graphic it's easy to understand and isn't vague.  It will give you an actual date!

DUDE WHERE'S MY (I MEAN WHEN) IS MY INVITATIONS

I get asked A LOT about the time line for wedding paper.  It seems there are five million things to send out and no one told you when where or how to do it.  Here is a great guide from Crane & Co (http://blog.crane.com) That gives you a great timeline with pictures (cause who has time to deal with all those pesky 'words').

Hope it settles the confusion and it makes life and communication between you and your designer or stationary company a lot easier to deal with.

WELCOME

I am very excited to launch this blog.  A) because it will show off this little company and what it can do and B) because it means that HTML has not beaten me.

See our navigation bar (pretty gray thing to the right) for our links
